Where was Al Franken at the DNC and will he be doing counterspin at the GOP convention ?

Although I think it's ridiculous maybe someone convinced him being featured at the DNC would make him all non-local-Minnesotan looking or something but since I think he's a guy whos capable of making news and getting ears to listen will he be at all visible in the upcoming days nationally ?

2. Many of the Democrats at the DNC were running for elections and the RNC is in the state he's running

for the election to the Senate of.

The dude isn't going door to door 24/7, this was a clear choice and convention appearances could (have) happened.
