RNC Protest Photo: Our Tax Dollars at Work

This photo was taken from an office overlooking the area near one of the Mississippi River bridges about four blocks from the convention center. You can see that there is a small gathering of protesters, only a few dozen people (the big protest was coming down from the other side of the downtown area). "Protecting" the RNC from these dangerous radicals (mostly old ladies, according to someone who saw this up close) is a line of riot police backed up by more cops on horseback.



I'm glad to know our tax dollars are being put to such an important purpose.

and the repug one. Wonder if Cindy S. is there with her people like they were in Denver?

I was talking about Cindy Sheehan and not cindy mccain. cindy mccain would not be caught down in the street with the people unless it was repugs and for a photo op.

the "Cindy McCains" are all free to do their work in the convention ... of course, they have to wait an hour after closing the deal ...
