Paranoia and/or Chickenshititis must run deep in republicans' veins
How the hell can they cheer & whistle at the fearmongering festival that's going on?

Be scared! Fear everyone different from you!! Terror! terror! MOOSLIMS!!!

WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

What a bunch of panty waisted sissies, man.

Hey freepers?? Grow up and grow a set ya bunch of cry babies. Learn how to think for yourselves instead of bleating out the tired old shit that Rash Limpballs spews out.

2. I was getting ready to post the same thing.
That is what we kept hearing from those delegates that were so thrilled with Palin's speech - "I feel like they will keep me safe!"

Effin cowards...

3. It's amazing, isn't it?
It's like they need a mommy or daddy to protect them all the time. They forgot to grow up and learn to rely on themselves for *anything*...

Why do people buy into the fearmongering? You'd think that the supposed 'religious' people wouldn't be afraid to die because they'd be getting their reward: they'd be going home to heaven, right?

They also fail to realize that it was *their party* who allowed the attacks of 9-11 to happen on their watch. The republicans didn't keep us too safe now, did they?

Republicans are the cause of everything wrong in this country... *everything*! They make me sick...

4. Some gas bag on CNN was going on about how women would really go for this
lumpy McSame protectionist POW shit. Like all women are scared and need a protector. Moose is big enough to protect herself and them too. According to the gas bag, women are really stupid like that. :eyes:

9. I couldn't watch it any longer, it was making me physically ill...
The rightwingers & fundies think women are objects, or property, that they need to take care of like livestock. They also think women should be subservient to men..

8. You hit an important point there

Yes, they have "faith in God" while apparently having no faith that this God will protect or sustain them from anything.

It cuts to the basic deep reality within most of them that the thing they are afraid of is that their faith is ineffective.

It is the fear within the fear.

(good seeing you outside of "that other place" - there's an election on)

10. Thank you, Mr Berryhill... "It is the fear within the fear."
It's some kind of disconnect, isn't it?

Good to see you up here, too...

Peace, my friend

5. Carefully LISTEN to the laughter and WATCH body language
these people are SCARED.

And it is bad... since they will vote for these folks out of REAL FEAR...

Of course what they are scared off is not quite the muslim, or the hispanic... at this point is the fact that they'll have to live in a country run by the hired help... or actually the help brought by force to the country.

They will fight to keep the order that they have known like wounded animals...

11. Good points, nadin, thank you...
They are afraid of change, or anything that might upset their very delicate world view of things...

:hi:
