I can't believe the propoganda. Her speech SUCKED.

How can "seasoned professionals" watch this and be entralled?

I've heard better speeches at high school ceremonies. Are the standards that low?

Edit: I'm watching CNN.

1. Inevitable.
She could have stood up there and grunted moosecalls, and the propaganda officers masquerading as the free press would have painted it as the greatest oratory of all time.

2. Yes, sadly, the standards were that low. Did you see Lingle and some others?
As Shields guessed earlier in the evening, she could read the phone book and get rave reviews.

3. People arent that stupid ....
The media types who have tried to hype Palin have failed miserably .... the GRASSROOTS of all parties, outside of the rabid RW Christian voters, are utterly turned off by her malarkey ....

They can crow all they want: Voters arent buying it ....

I HOPE McCain's campaign sticks with her ... all the way down ....

But: I never get my way, so therefore: She is gone by next week ....

9. I fear you're right
But the lawyer gang is heading up to AK to silence the GOP folks who voice concern about her.
Hmmm

5. They loved her policies and her keen understanding of the issues
That's why this speech showed she is ready to be a heartbeat away from the presidency.

I missed her discussion of policy and issues. What did she say?

6. It's just like with the 2000 and 2004 debates
Anyone with an IQ higher than their shoe size could see that Chucklenuts made a complete fool of himself in every one of those "debates". Yet the media claim he "won" over both Gore and Kerry.

7. I remember that well.

I sat there wondering if they could have possibly watched the same debates I did.
