Minneapolis Councils 11-2 gives Homeland Security to rule local police
See the email below the annoucement of the marches. Call your council people and Mayor Rybak if in Mpls. Tomorrow the "Youth Against War and Racism" is goign to have their rally from the State Capitol to the Xcel Center.. Permited march, and advocating non-violence in the march will be at 12 pm and marching at 2pm. The non-violent, non-partician " Anti War Committee" is having a march at 4pm. Because of the hostility by law enforcement on the "March for our Lives" non-violent Poor people's march.. they ask many to attend.

I talked with my City Council person, Gary Schiff, who said something that caught me off guard. In an 11 to 2 vote (eleven against Gary Schiff and Cam Gordon) our city council gave Homeland Security control over our police.

So this explains everything.
Gary requests that we each call every city council person and support Gary and Cam in having hearings on these cases in which civil liberties were disregarded. Gary said he has heard many stories of civilians being physically restrained and sometimes wounded by Mpls. Police, and he is very concerned. HE CANNOT GET A HEARING ON THESE CASES IF THE MPLS CITY COUNCIL DOES NOT APPROVE. REMEMBER, THEY VOTED AGAINST GARY AND CAM. THEY WILL NEED OUR HELP IN UNDERSTANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF HOLDING HEARINGS.

Call 311 for phone numbers for reaching Mpls. City Council Commissioners.

Thanks so much.

3. The JTTF strikes again.
Notice how they mark peace groups for investigation and infiltration. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it came out that the majority of property damage was caused by agents provocateur. The tactics of herding people into a dead end, gassing and then arresting them is despicable. This is Homeland Security at its finest.
