Republicans will say anything, even in the face of an avalanche of facts to the contrary.

Mr. Palin is/was a member of the Alaska Independence Party, the founding goal and primary objective of which is to get Alaska out of the U.S. The members of that Party do not want to be Americans. Period.

And Sarah was shrieking about Michelle Obama being really proud of the U.S. for the first time?

2. The double standard is enough to make any THINKING person's head explode.
And shame on the media for wetting themselves and then going along with the right's demands every time they get criticized for reporting the truth on Republicans.

4. and something occurred to me ... the Repugniconvicts were saying that
there was a line in Michelle's thesis where she expressed her hatred of America or something like that ... and that she didn't want it released ...

and I thought ... if it wasn't released, how did these people know what it said?

Kinda like Bob Golic a few years back saying about how Clinton did the spying on U.S. citizens just like Bush ... but nobody knew it ... (so how did HE know about it???)

6. A female executive I know recently described Michelle as "uppity".

Made me physically ill when I heard of it.
It's sickening to know you work with ignorant racists.

11. Family matters are off limits, for sure. But the political activities of families are not.
Mr. Husband chose to be politically active in that Party, and those activities are NOT off limits.

14. It applies to some degree to those who insist on displaying the Confederate battle flag.
Some of those with the battle flag claim simply that it's a heritage thing, but others are more wistful that the South wasn't victorious in their attempt to secede.

Palin and his crowd, however, have an expressed desire to leave this country.

America, love it or leave it. Mr. Palin has made his choice known.
