Why don't Democrats stop this crap about the delivery |
|
of the speech and get to the content. Only Biden has responded sensibly. Palin delivered a pile of lies last night. Please expose this pork-loving pit bull.

1. A good response from Axelrod |
|
He said: "For someone who makes the point that she is not from Washington, she looks like she would fit in very well there.” ( http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0908/Axelrod_on_Palin.html)

3. It is sort of a backhanded compliment -- like saying "Little Joey recited that poem perfectly!" |
|
Biden has been good on the content (I mean lack of content). Hopefully the surrogates will pick up on this.

any dem address the lies in Palin's speech last night...there were many of them to be sure!
All I hear from Dems is that she gave a great speech....how fucking great can it be when she says all these lies about Obama?

12. It's The Media's Narrative |
|
Seems like those protest signs and baiting the refs have beaten the cables into kow towing, as usual...and claiming this speech was "home run". Sure it was...to deep right field...and for many within that fishbowl, they loved the red meat and polarization...that's how they got the big paychecks.
The real challenge is how Gramps comes off tonight. He's gotta match this speech and I don't see how he can. There's also the ego game now...Palin is now a "media darling" and I get a feeling Gramps, while he's using it now, won't be too happy with it if no one pays attention to what he says and the focus continues on her. You can just see there's ZERO chemistry between these two and this could be the fun moving forward.
This is their week and let them keep alienating...this sooo reminds me 1992 and how the bile out of that convention was an albatross around Poppy's neck.
The problem is that the Democrats have been frozen off most the corporate media...give the RNC credit...they've made sure their surrogates are out with talking points...but as we saw with the Nooner and Murphy, to paraphrase Grandma Barracuda..."they say one thing when the camera is on...and something different when it's off..."
The sub-story here is the growing contempt between the beltway media and Camp Gramps. When they lose Roger Simon, they're screwed.

13. Three ladies appeared on CNN's Larry King Live last night.... |
|
after Palin's speech and pretty much took it and her apart.
They said in essence, "nice speech, but where's the meat?"
It was all bark, no bite.
There wasn't any talk of the economy, or what the GOP would do to fix the economy or help struggling people.

14. I don't watch anything... |
|
but from the responses I've seen around the net, she is taking a whooping. I don't know which 'base' she stirred up more. Odd speech for an unknown to give. Maybe she was hired to do one gig only.
