...What the hell is so "remarkable" or "phenomenal" about someone reading a speech they didn't write, that sounded like many before and that they were intensely coached on for days before? I've known plenty of folks who could have done much the same under the same handling.

Why was the media fawning over her last night?

13. I give her a B for effectiveness

Her speech was aimed at the Republican base and it was pretty effective. Don't get me wrong, there was no substance at all to it...it was just a 35 minute cheerleading session, but that's really what the RNC needed. Of course it had to be that because it opens the door for McCain to go out and give a somewhat more moderate (and almost certainly more boring) speech. (Talking head) Roland Martin made a good poing though. He said "it's obvious she will be the attack dog. The Democrats should treat her accordingly."
