Poll question: Is the term "slut shamer" sexist or not? |
|
A slut shamer is someone who tries to shame perceived "sluts" away from sexuality. They can vary in personality from the Church Lady Character off SNL to Misogynist Extraordinaire Perez Hilton.

3. Course not, but the assumption that sluts can't be male IS sexist. nt |

6. Not sure that's the case |
|
Especially since the term "slut shamer" comes straight out of Feminist Jargon

7. I've never even heard the term... |
|
But it's not really sexist, I don't think. It isn't referring to all women and why men are "better" in any real way. Unless you want to try to make the case that only women can be seen as being wrong for being promiscuous.
Which I don't agree with.
