Attacking journalists. How far have they gone?

I know that 50% of you will tell me to take my tin foil hat off, but you can go screw.

Perhaps I'm stating the obvious here, but I can't ignore the fact that many journalists, reporters, anchors and writers seem to be acting crazy. Totally nuts. They lie, ignore, bury, protest, defend way more than just an ordinary shill. Maybe these people have been threatened, perhaps subtly, or in some cases, overtly. This many people cannot have this little integrity. Maybe while we Dems are busy doing opposition research they are busy doing media research. They may know everything, I mean everything, about a lot of journalists. All it would take is a few dropped comments, a whiff of revealing a secret...this would send chills up the spine of anyone...it would definitely have a ripple effect through the small world that is the media.

In my heart I believe that this is going on. Of course I have zero proof and zero friends in the media. If there were such a scandal, a scandal of this magnitude, how could one begin to uncover it.

I will use Brokaw as an example. He's never been an outright Progressive, but I used to be a big fan, and I NEVER knew him to go to the lengths that he's gone to recently to catapult the propaganda. This is more than just fear of losing ones job. So what's really going on?

1. Brokaw was one of the recipients of the anthrax

and one of his assistants got very sick (or died?) from the attack.

You don't need a tinfoil hat to think that there might be ongoing intimidation of members of the press corp. OTOH, Keith has been very critical and, so far, hasn't suffered from any threats (though I do believe that he receives constant threats, but not from the type of people who might be in a position to carry it out and cover it up.

2. Have you forgotten that Keith was mailed fake anthrax on two occasions?

And those are just the ones we know about. OK, so the guy was an idiot literally living in his mother's basement and could never have used real anthrax, but living under constant threats has to wear you down after a time.

3. No, but that's a lot different than the real weaponized stuff.

But, as far as we know, Keith hasn't gotten the type of credible threat that would cause him to tow the line now like Brokaw does.

the same people the repubs parade around in front of cameras, they slam their service to communities when it's politically expedient
