She called to speak to someone in order to conduct a one-question survey sponsored by Newt Gingrich.

"I'm sorry, not Newt Gingrich" I replied, "we've just finished eating here."

And that was in no way cruel. In fact, you were fairly polite. I ask who the hell are they, and why are they in this ridiculous line of work when there are so many other minimum wage jobs out there which are so much more rewarding and other pithy remarks like that. Basically, telemarketers should be banned. And so should Newt Gingrich.
