Yes indeed, the fact that Palin is a VP selection has inspired me to reach for heights I might never have considered previously.
If Palin is qualified for VP and or of course President should that possibility come into play, then I myself am qualified for a VP position in business! I have 22 years of experience in Business IT, as a developer and a project manager. I am a woman. I am not as attractive as Palin, but I would probably pass for average to above average. In addition, I am a mother and a grandmother. Just like Palin! But listen up. I have three grandchildren! And my daughter is already married! Finally I have a son-in-law who is in the Navy.
My project management experience can be called executive experience in my mind. Palin did something similar. Even though my projects managed few people, so what? Still the same thing.. executive experience in my book if I play it the way Palin has.
AND since Big Business is behind this lovely McCain, Palin ticket, then shouldn't they put their money where their mouth is? Yes Palin has broken not only the glass ceiling, but the experience ceiling! Woo Hoo!
I am so anxious to begin re-writing my resume!

2. Glasses. You'll need glasses. |

That filthy librarian look, I think it's vital.
Your CV sounds good, but if you have a Special Needs kid or grandkid - maybe the neighbor has one you could borrow? - that would help. Plus, you'll have to get someone in your family knocked up out of wedlock. But you'll embrace her. And the brain-dead jock who did her.
That said, you sure have my vote!
And, of course, Welcome To DU!!!!!!!!!

3. I seriously thought about running for a local office |
|
But decided against it because of the sour direction politics have taken in the last few years. I just have a wife & step son, but no way I could put them through even local mud slinging.
I guess I don't think like Sarah.

I am thinking of Business! Not Politics. I mean if we can ELECT Palin, and big business is behind this ticket, then why wouldn't I be imminently qualified for any executive business position? Like President, CIO, CEO, VP, etc?
