Maddow - Dare I say it? Better than Olberman
She is damn good, easy on the eyes and she has some garlic.
Go girl!

3. I like her quirky charm. And she's hardhitting with a smile.
Keith is definitely angrier on the surface.

7. I like her better and I LOVE KO

Sometimes Keith becomes a bit too bombastic when he doesn't need to. When he has a too lengthy and enraged (artificially?) comment, I turn off, even if I agree with him.

I hesitate to recommend him to Rethug leaning friends -- no hesitation at all with Rachel.

9. There's nothing more appealing than a smart woman
That was the major attraction for me to my ex. Too bad she got corrupted by power and money.

22. I love KO. He's the only one on MSNBC that I can watch consistantlty
Matthews is a right wing tool and the others, besides Rachel, aren't much better.

12. It's like comparing Aretha Franklin to John Lennon....each is great, but in their own unique way.
I hate this game of pitting liberal talkers against each other. We need them both in all their brilliance.

13. Rachel is the smartest kid in class, but so unpretentious about it
She's just herself - funny, likable and smarter than 99.9% of the people she talks to. She also has the most unerring nose for, and dislike of, bullshit in all of the major media and will call a skunk a skunk when she smells one.,

16. just a question to throw out to you guys
do you think Keith was called out for his 9/11 comment last nite, but his bosses there seem to let him vote his opinion freely.

Tonight she said it is time to just call McC a LIAR.

23. Its a matter of which style you prefer, but they are both right on point
They have much different styles but each of them is excellent. My own preference is for Maddow's method and presentation, but I love Olberman too.

we need to keep writing kudos to MSNBC to help promote their longevity.

25. I think Keith has a slight edge on effectiveness of delivery over Rachel, but she is heads above
everyone else. She does her homework. The only thing that bothered me last night was that she allowed Howard Fineman get away with the new talking point of Palin being a rock star. She should have called him out on it.

How many other liberal TV personalities do we have to choose from these days?

27. Let's not pit one against the other.

We are lucky to have them both. It would be a victory for the RWers if one had to be eliminated from the schedule.

28. If It Wasn't For Keith, There Wouldn't Be Rachel
Each has their own style and have fought battles to get to where they are. KO built up an audience over 4 years and his success made it possible to give Rachel the break she deserves. They compliment each other...no comparison here. KO is an insider that has survived the corporate game for over 20 years while Rachel is a newcomer on the scene, who, with a big boost by Olbermann was given the chance to crack into the corporate media and her own smarts and personality has brought her to this point.

This is kinda like comparing whose more valuable...a power hitter or a great pitcher. Seperately they aren't as powerful as when they are together...and it's opening the door for even more Progressives to get a seat at the golden microphones.
