Proud of My Co-workers today!!!
I work in a large corporate retail headquarters in Ohio. Today 12 of my co-workers and I sat in a computer training session. It was from 9 - 4:00 and most of us were a little frazzled when it was over.

I've worked in this office for 10 months, I know a couple of my coworkers are democrats, but it's not something that we talk about too often. My most liberal coworker and I talked about the conventions, but mostly in hushed tones...I wear my Obama tee shirt on fridays, but wear a jacket over it.

So I was very pleasantly surprised today after the computer training when someone mentioned something about McCain's speech last night. The instructor (who was a 30ish woman, and pretty annoying) said loudly that in her opinion she wasn't too excited about either of our candidates....there was no response, I was biting my tongue. Then she said that she would really like to just vote for Sarah Palin. There was a chorus of my 12 coworkers all saying NO!!! She looked surprised and someone started telling her about the Wolves and someone else told her about the polar bears, she'd never heard ANYTHING about that!

Hopefully we educated one of them today!!!

I wouldn't want to learn anything from a woman, no matter what age, who would support a woman like Paler and I would have no respect for her intelligence.

Sorry, no way, just couldn't. Good for you and your co-workers!

2. As I stated on another thread, I have turned 3 people over to
Obama just by bringing up the polar bears and the fact that Palin doesn't think any animals have rights at all. Most people are sympathetic to animals, and especially the polar bears plight.

3. I had some great conversations with my coworkers as well
We all just laughed at how stupid and what an utter joke the McCain campaign has become with their pick of Palin. Made for some good times.
