What? No Daily Show thread?
DU is becoming more and more of a disappointment.

Jon goes to the trouble of having a Friday Night Special election final and you all IGNORE it?

For shame.

(It's an EXCELLENT show! He hands McCain, Palin, and the GOP their asses.)

5. It's not on here for another 2hrs. 40 mins.
By then these threads have dropped off the page and there usually aren't any new ones. Or maybe if I laid off the wine tonight, I would be able to find the left coast ones!

11. How about the "small town" segment. Dumb-ass republicans have no idea what that means
Edited on Fri Sep-05-08 10:34 PM by HughMoran
Republicans are fucking idiots who don't even know what their party is preaching.

Without the slightest comprehension or honesty.

17. They couldn't even comprehend beyond the talking point - which they clearly couldn't relate to
I love when he asked one of those talking about "small towns, cows - like the 50's" what he did for a job.

"Lobbyist" he replied

That was the quintessential moment for me - shows how Republicans say one thing and do another - they are most often liars & hypocrites. They live their lives without any sense of center or real core beliefs. They are hollow. Fake. Everything they claim that feeling, caring Dems are. They want to be like us, but they cant because they were born without souls.

I can't comprehend how they can lie as they do in their speeches. Why don't they just say " we love the KKK"

They couldn't even answer, and when they did, they whipped out something lame- fishing is a small town value?

And then TDS goes and interiews strippers who say the delegates are generous tippers!!

This is too easy for TDS!

I yelled at my daughter. "Man he is closeted, but it is not helping, he is so obvious." At first I thought he was a member of the Log Cabin Republicans.

Same stupid speech writers.. These people couldn't write their own speeches if they had too, and I think they should have too at least once during the campaign.

33. Obama's actually gave some information that some people might
not know. This one was just hilarious. The thing with Jon is that he was pushing for mccain because he thought mccain would be different and run a clean honest campaign. Well, surprise on Jon when he has lied and done what he has done just in an attempt to win. I don't know what people will do it he does win. I think people are angrier over this campaign than they were in the last two. I know I am!!!!!
