Who Said This: "I Support My Darling Black African Woman"
Edited on Fri Sep-05-08 10:29 PM by orleans
here's the quote:

"I support my darling black African woman," he said. "I admire and am very proud of the way she leans back and gives orders to the Arab leaders ... Leezza, Leezza, Leezza. ... I love her very much. I admire her, and I'm proud of her, because she's a black woman of African origin."

have you guessed yet?

9. could not end my post
I'm just about done with this crap. My point was Michelle Obama could wear what ever she wants and Condi Rice has been raked over the coals for her choice of clotting and accessories. I'm talking boots! High ones!
Is Michelle going to be the go to girl for fashion?
Well. she wears what she wants. Not one critic will dare to say a thing.
I myself love Cindy McCain's grubby tear stained overalls that she has worn in other country's. She is there to save children. I would be proud to put them on any day.

15. She brought the shoe thing on herself. Shoe shopping at a critical time.
http://www.antiwar.com/justin/?articleid=8983
"After all, as the victims of Hurricane Katrina were drowning, Condi Rice "went shopping at Ferragamo on Fifth Ave.," reported the New York Daily News. "According to the Web site Gawker.com, the 50-year-old bought 'several thousand dollars' worth of shoes' at the pricey leather-goods boutique.""

10. There are not
a lot of Condi Rice supporters on DU. And it isn't because she is a black person, a woman, or her shoes. Rather, it is because she has been a part of the violent, criminal group of people known as the "Bush administration."

Recently, Vincent Bugliosi published a book, "The Prosecution of President George W. Bush for Murder." In it, he makes a strong case for prosecuting Bush, Cheney, and Rice for murder. He does not advocate prosecuting Rice for her shoes, or for being an instrument in the effort to bring about peace in the Middle East. Rather, he advocates prosecuting her for murder for her role in what he refers to as the biggest case of homicide in US history.

Condi Rice has also played a significant role in two of the most important scandals in US history: the Plame scandal, and the neocon/AIPAC espionage scandal. In the espionage scandal, a federal judge has ruled that defense attorneys can indeed call Rice to the witness stand. This ruling was based entirely upon her role in the espionage case, and not on her shoes.

12. Get his new book.
It is, in my opinion, the single most important book published in the last eight years. The importance of the book may be measured in the corporate media's efforts to ignore it.

Even in one of the very few examples of him being allowed to discuss it, on MSNBC's morning show, the media attempted to marginalize him. Joe Scarborough said that he absolutely disagreed with the book. Bugliosi asked if he had read it? No, Then how could he disagree with it? Joe mentioned a specific White House report, which "proved" Mr. Bugliosi was wrong. In fact, when Mr. Bugliosi held up the report, and began to document Scarborough's error, MSNBC cut his mike. Although the show had told Mr. Bugliosi that he would have a full 10 minutes to discuss the book, the interview ended after only four minutes.

Condi Rice is part of a violent, criminal group of thugs. I will never seek to dismiss discussions about her role in this administration -- I don't believe in "cutting mikes." I'm always ready and willing to discuss her openly, and in detail.

14. Insult Her While Seeming Nice
Was he trying to insult her while seeming nice. Ins't there a name for when people say something seemingly nice, but it is meant to insult. It just seems to me that when he put that comment about the Arab leaders and then said her name as Leezza instead of Condi or Condaleeza it was meant to be an insult. It seemed as if he were putting her on the level of a child. It seemed like he was figuratively patting her on the head and saying "you think you are so bad, but you really are not". What do others think about that idea? Maybe he just dislikes the Arab leaders.
