"FRITZ and TITS" ... Does anyone else remember that slogan?

I was in my late teens when I first saw that bumper sticker. I subsequently saw it on shirts and other cars. I was absolutely apolitical, but seeing that bumper sticker freaked me out. I was paying little to no attn to the '84 presidential race - until I saw that sticker.

Geraldine Ferraro had been labeled 'TITS'. It was deeply disturbing to me. The slogan has come back to my consciousness many times over the years. That year I became a Democrat.


The hypocrisy of the R's saying we are 'slurring Sarah' is astounding.

and then falling all over themselves congratulating McCain for being a POW this year.

But I certainly heard it repeated a lot in high school. Can't say I have a lot of use for Ferraro anymore, but she was on the first Presidential ticket I voted for. Even if nobody else except Minnesota did :(

8. I'm sorry but Geraldine interjected herself into the Hillary debate

w/o having a clear understanding of the issues in 2008, her thinking seems to be centered in the past experience she had. She lived close by to my town when she was young. I think she has flipped for McSame at least that sounds like where she is headed.
