20. This from the article:
"If this has been botched up the way it has, there's a question as to whether it should continue," Coghill told NEWSWEEK.

Isn't that kinda like the attorney firings that Congress STILL is waiting on and about which the WH has not complied in furnishing requested documents and that Harriet Miers just got a stay on in Appeals court?

They need to send Fitz up there to straighten it all out, but they are going to try to play out the clock on this one, too, I am afraid.

senator_hollis_french@legis.state.ak.us

He wants to issue subpoenas and needs to know people are behind him. BE NICE.

Said that reporters have been caught trying to climb over a neighbor's fence to get onto Palin's property.

9. I'll bet MANY Alaskans are not enjoying this limelight.
Most ppl who move to AK do so to 'get away from it all'.

All the more reason to hate "the press," when it just might be the press, in this regard, that saves us.

23. Southern Alaska is pretty temperate
At least the part around Juneau isn't cold all the time; I'm sure cool seed lawns would do fine there.

28. So, will Republicans be successful
in getting rid of French and/or shutting down the investigation?

It seems like the best outcome would be to keep French, keep investigating, and keep the original October 31st due date for the report.
