Okay, please explain the pregnancy thing to me nice & slow

I admit, we've been moving the past week and my cable is still off, and internet only back on today...

but I can't piece together this Palin family - thing...
so, Sarah wasn't preggers, but daughter was?
they are still passing baby off as their own?
Daughter Bristol is pregnant currently...? or is she just post partum?
...and the wedding is already a done deal? or what

I am sooooo thoroughly confused at this. Is this some kind of backwater breeding thing I don't know about?
will someone please connect the dots for me? there is too much to sift through (i have tried) and I would rather trust my fellow DUers with fact checking at this point!

1. As it stands now:

1. Sarah had her baby when she said she did.
2. Her daughter is currently pregnant (around 5 months along, I think.)
3. Her daughter has not married yet, but they plan to marry soon.

After decades of loathing the Nat'l Enquirer, I have a new-found respect for them.. I know the stories they research tend to be of the "springer-esque sort", but this stuff DOES happen, and I am cheering them on in their pursuits on the Mrs. Moose & her twisted family story, because this woman is DANGEROUS..she's cunning, and calculating, and should not end up anywhere NEAR the white house..except maybe on a tour.

This handicapped baby and her heroic determination to "keep" him is her HOOK..Prove her a lying deceitful scam artist who would use her family in such a perverse manner, and we rid ourselves of her influence forever.

Remember how esteemed the Rev Haggart was?.until...
remember how we all thought John Edwards was so "perfect"?.....until

These people were just fine..UNTIL they were outed as the frauds they really were..

We ignore and give a pass to Mrs. Moose at our own peril....NO ONE here (except for a few of our resident Alaskans) even knew who this woman was until LAST WEEK, so no one here was "out to get her"..

We only did what we always do.. we started researching, and almost immediately, stumbled onto one odd circumstance after another, pictures that did not "match up", blogs from contemporaneous time-frames from Alaskans who were "buzzing" about the weird pregnancy she claimed to be experiencing..

All the online digging and "sharing" is what forced the corporate media to get off their asses and start looking into this UN VETTED possible president..

Consider this.. McCain dies in office after a year..Mrs. Moose becomes president, and loads the whole administration with Rev. Dobson devotees.. Like that scenario?? People like Ralph Reed.. Like Pat Robertson.. Like Phyllis Schlafly..

Somewhere on here there should be an apology to Sarah Palin for the insult to her family perpetuated by Daily KOS and DU, and I don't know how many more. There were even accusations of incest which caused the Down Syndrome baby. Ridiculous!

7. With all due respect, those rumors started on Alaskan blogs

in May and June by locals and started long before Palin was the VP pick. Daily Kos diarists and DU'ers only repeated the rumors, they didn't ~start~ them.

Funny, but Palin could lay them all to rest with a copy of the birth certificate. She hasn't produced one. What's happening is exactly what would happen if it was Bristol's baby -- the GOP desperately trying to shift attention away from it.

We have not seen the end of this story.

the other story(trig being bristol's) was nothing but a trap- with rovian tactics written all over it.
thankfully anyone with an ounce of common sense steered well clear of it.

Lots of juicy rumors, the stuff of daytime soaps meets the Clampets.

Rumor one says Trig is not Sarah's baby, she is covering for her daughter.
Rumor two is it is Sarah's but the daddy is in question.
Rumor three is Sarah had an affair with her husband's business partner whio may or may not be the baby daddy.

Fact one Daughter is pregnant.
Fact two daughter will have a shotgun wedding.
Fact three if you are a white Republican running for VP with John McCain your teenagers pregnancy is a blessing from God. All others, especially thise of color, are going to hell.

Fact three if your are the above mentioned pregnant teenager you made a Godly "CHOICE" top keep the baby. But they won't let others have a CHOICE if they get their way!

that sarah was not preggers at all...that daughter is mom, and that the current pregnancy of said daughter will end in a well timed miscarriage for best election results...

the gop are a scary and manipulative crowd, and this Palin woman is truly a frightening thing to behold. This is a move straight out of Peyton Place crica 1950!!!

her "leakage and contractions" and her insistence on delivering her speech. there`s a something very wrong with this story and it is not about the baby being her daughters.

you ca't give a freaking speech when your water is broken! the contractions are just tto powerful!

I had my 2nd child 10 years after my first, and the time from water breaking to birth was less than 6 hours...and that was after they told me to expect the delivery to be long because it had ben so long between pregnancies.

getting on a plane? uh-uh...I was chewed out by my doc for flying at 5 mos pregnant on a 30 min flight to tahoe form the Bay with my first baby.. had contractions that put me in the hospital overnight! and I was a healthy 21 year old!

a 40-something woman on her fifth child having a high risk baby would be under strict orders NOT to fly under any circumstances. so the water braking, 10 hour flight and drive to the podunk hospital just
STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN

thanks everyone for clearing this up, I guess we will see how it plays out in the next few weeks. I hope someone breaks through the BS and finds the TRUTH beneath...though that could be even worse.
