2. I really don't think McCain can win
Edited on Sat Sep-06-08 07:07 AM by Solly Mack
but I also don't think the loss will make Palin go away.

All across America schools have to fight to teach science while right wing religious wackos fight to turn religion into science. They also fight to ban books, use corrupted textbooks, and impose their religion anywhere and everywhere they can get away with it.

Religious zealots should scare thinking people...they are a danger.

Nows a good time to crush Palin...before she becomes a problem for the rest of us.

The nation doesn't want her as VP but that doesn't mean Alaska won't send her to Washington as a member of Congress.

I know not everyone in Alaska supports Palin but not everyone in Alaska supports Ted Stevens either (that hasn't stopped him - yet). Just like not everyone in other states support the right winger that ends up going to D.C....but the right winger still ends up going.

I've read an article from a few years ago where Palin claims she can't go to Congress because then she couldn't be home to be a team mom (hockey)...and being VP would allow her more time to be home to be a team mom?. The woman is an opportunistic liar.

Didja know that in the summer of 2007 Palin hosted a reception for Robert Bork (yes, that Bork), John Bolton, Rich Lowery , and Dick Morris? They were on a cruise with the National Review.

Well, she did

Here she is with Bork

Point being - Palin was only an unknown to the rest of America...the neo-cons and the religious right wing have been well aware of her existence.

11. we need to do ,more than just beat McCain I agree
But we also need to push her down a notch. The religious right has found their messiah in her and if she comes out unscathed they'll be more powerful. She needs to have her skeletons exposed to harm her political image so she can't return in 2012 and look as fresh as she did three weeks ago.

3. Alaska will she marry me?
I always knew that Seward's Folley would come back to bite us in the ass. Seward was a dick.

4. Not worried about this election, however...
I think she is being introduced to the country now in preparation for running as president in 2012. She's young enough to be hanging around for a long time unless she pulls an "Edwards".

5. I assure you, she's not a "witch"
Call her a Jesus freak, a Talibornagain, a christofascist, but please don't call her a witch.

6. A President Palin would decimate the country.
I'd leave while they still allowed people like me out.

7. Frankly, i'm not that concerned.
I still believe that the American people will wake up from this nightmare, and open their eyes to facts and truth. I can't wait to see Biden and Palin in a real debate. Real conversation, real questions and real glimpses of the personalities of these two people. And when people see that, all will be right with the world. And then, when Santa comes on Christmas, I'll get that puppy!
Peace.

9. Calm down
She's going nowhere in a hurry. They are going to be wiped out. Ignore the propaganda - it's coming from their tiny base and the hacks. Focus, focus focus - it's the economy ...

10. When she asks, "So what exactly does the President do?" we'll find out.

On edit. I forgot this:

Not before, count on it. There isn't enough time.

I was wondering why they pushed the convention back so far,
they even had to change some state laws to accomplish it.
