over opposition by alaskan repubs and oil companies - palin pushed legislation through to increase taxes on oil companies. We know alaskan resident receives a yearly check from oil revenues.
if mccain-palin want to push drilling in ANWAR and off-shore - then we should all get a piece of that pie.
if it's good enough for alaska it's good enough for the rest of us

and those Big Boys would be just fine -- They could drill in the land they've got and stop exporting so much diesel to other countries and share the profits with all of us and I'd be just peachy with all that. ANWR does not get drilled.
