for?

"The Palins own few undeveloped properties on the Safari Lake and Big Lake, AK in Alaska in partnership with Scott A. Richter and his ex-wife Debbie under “Richter Investments LLC.”.Debbie Richter was Palin’s campaign treasurer. Richter was awarded a job as the Director of the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend Division for her service. The State of Alaska gives its citizens “free money” checks every year out of this fund. This “free money” comes from oil royalties collected and investments. The Fund is currently worth $35 billion.Under Sarah and Debbie’s leadership in 2006, all Permanent Fund claims from residents (you have to make a claim for your check) were lost in a computer data entry failure.According courtrecords.alaska.gov:"

4. I can't find anything more on this -- have you been able to?
I'm guessing that since it's not NEWS, maybe the problem was resolved? Wouldn't we be hearing about this from Alaskans if they didn't receive their money?

9. I don't know. You would think so, but I never knew they received big oil money until the
McMoose selection.

5. I once entertained the idea of taking my trade skills to Alaska because of
that dividend. I wonder if those claims ever got paid to the families that depend on them right at Christmas time.

10. There has to be something about payouts on a state website or something in a budget that is public.
I've been too busy to look. Have to go again here soon. Maybe I will look again when I get home, but I'm not so good at it. :P
