Seems to me Obama/Biden could make an issue of this....

The protesters were virtually ignored at the DNC by those in the convention, but there wasn't the heavy handed and in many cases illegal police tactics used by authorities at the RNC.


It is obvious that the difference is due to politics. I'm sure there were orders given by the Bushies via Homeland Security to crack down hard in their joint operations with local law enforcement and show there constituency (knuckledragging neoantherals) they mean to be tough on these "terrorists. Further investigation here could turn up some real eye opening stuff.

I'd like to hear Biden on one of his rants say while citing the RNC abuses:

"This is what happens to civil liberties when Republicans are in charge"!

Then cite some of the highlights in this regard in the last 8 years where the Bushies have used heavy handed tactics, censorship, propoganda, etc. The dems have a veritable goldmine of fodder for such a fight, why not use it?


Also Obama/Biden would do themselves a favor by at least listening to what the protesters have to say. Remember RFK and Eugene McCarthy?
