1. But, but, Chuck Todd said...
the State by State EV's were basically even, with the advantage for McCain.

10. He ain't clueless
He's just trying to keep his job.

I watched Tim Russert go from a journalist to a media whore. Todd & a few others are following that path.

2. Your excitement is not warranted.
That map is based on state polls, none of which have occurred recently.

7. They nailed it last time...right down to MI as a battleground state.
And there are about 200 other "ZOMG!!11!! the polls say we are screwn!!!" threads you can enjoy your misery on.

9. Your snark is completely unwarranted.
I merely was trying to give you some information you evidently were lacking.

I regret wasting my time on you.

12. Actually, Fox News/Rassmussen polled CO, OH, FL, PA and VA on 9/7
http://www.pollster.com/blogs/fox_co_fl_oh_pa_va_97.php

Predictably, they're showing an unexpected lead for McCain in OH. Don't buy it. Consider the source.

14. True, but none of those new polls are reflected at electoralvote.com.
They will pick up those new polls tomorrow.

536.com has looked at these new polls and has written up a pretty good analysis.

5. We've Clearly Lost The Election
Only thing left to do is concede our defeat, and throw ourselves on the mercy of the Republicans.

15. It hasn't translated into state polls yet.
That is all electoral-vote.com uses and there hasn't been a new poll since last friday.
