does anyone else find the DU Search function less than great?

Specifically, the date range component seems to be redundant/confusing. Is it me? :shrug:

6. I find a lot of stuff using the google DU search

sometimes it's easier.

7. i don't like the Google search, I do well with the advanced search though

I just pick "Big Forums (Conference)" at the top of the list

searching the archives is a bit trickier for sure, but practice helps

10. Thank you for bringing this up because I also find it's not very usable.

Not only is it redundant, but there seems to be no sense of order.

The "search" function used to be the biggest perk for donating; that's no longer the case.
