They don't care with facts and figures
They are giddy about Palin, her "spunk" (where is Lou Grant we need him) her zingers and, yes, her freshness, especially compared to boring McCain (McSnore, from Boston Legal).

So what if she was for the bridge before she was against it? Or that she asked for a lot of earmarks? The ones who are charmed by her do not care about facts and figures.

Some media people say: wait until the debate with Biden, see what she knows about foreign policy. Except... it is up to the moderator to pose the questions and it is possible that foreign policy was not going to be the only question asked, or that she will get an easy one.

I don't know. Obama did not do well on Olbermann. Was too hesitant in his replies.

At one point he said something (I don't remember the exact phrase) that "they will have to realize" or something like that and I was thinking: no, they don't.

We've seen it before. We are armed with facts, and details and they yawn.

Yes, I am cynical. Have seen this play before in 2000 and in 2004.

Obama and Biden will have to energize the voters despite of the McCain and Palin, and I have no idea how. They cannot be who they are not.

All I can hope is that the Palin "freshness" is a one trick pony that will run its course in time for November.
