My question for ABC and Charlie Gibson is how much control does the McCain
camp have over the editing of the final product. Will the McCain camp be allowed to make the decisions on if a question and response can be used or not? Will Charlie let them get away with asking her a question one day and then answering it the next day?

These are important questions about the validity of the interview. To give the McCain camp control over such issues makes it a campaign commercial.

They both answer to power elite masters who control the edit.

2. It'll be another Barbara Walters-type "special"
She'll talk about the kids, take him on a tour of the house, talk about sad things that'll make her cry. That kind of stuff.

4. It's Charlie Gibson fer kristsake!
Remember the Steph/Gibson Obama interview? I doubt we'll see any real tough questions from Charlie. For the sake of my TV I'm going to avoid the whole thing.

5. Remember the Couric / McBush interview from a couple months ago?
Where they swapped in new answers to make Johnny look intelligent? That's the template.

8. This Is A Bone For ABC Being Such Good Toadies
The Palin game was geared at the media as much as being a cynical, desperate ploy to steal the "thunder" from Obama's campaign.

The plan from the outset was to consolidate the base with one of the biggest boogiemen in the GOOP arsenal..."the librul media". It's a game they've played for years and this pick was aimed at punishing some and rewarding others. Note how they immediately went after NBC/MSNBC...their current "enemy" and also CNN (and Campbell Brown of all people) who "research" claims is more "librul" than other networks.

Inversely, Faux and ABC who play along with the Rovian games get the bones...the access. This "interview" is a joke just on how its being done...like it's a feature on Inside Edition, not as a legitimate news story. Part of the ruse is "asking" for questions...as thousands have already come in...and surely some feature the talking points Camp Gramps and ABC will want to use and then claim that this wasn't their suggestion, but those of the "voters".

Be prepared for a snow job worthy of an Alaskan winter.
