Saw a bumper sticker today that really made me laugh... |
|
"I'm only speeding because I really have to poop."
I don't know why... but that cracked me up.

I'm driving home from work, bad day, worst week, feeling upset, angry, pull up behind a car, read the sticker-Get a taste of old fashion religion, lick a witch. Almost crash the car laughing:evilgrin:

was what my mother would always say when some twit would blow past us on the highway.
The thought has occurred to a lot of us, I think.

I knew arrived at the scene of a property-damage accident to see one of the cars speeding off. He knew who it was, so he didn't bother chasing it, figuring he'd catch up later. A little while goes by and the car returns. The woman gets out and says, "I'm sorry I ran off like that, but my bowels was a bustin'."

Under stressful conditions, you often have the uncontrollable need to have a BM. Something that some of us deal with all of our lifes. Embarrassing moments just seem to come from this condition. When I was young, I ran my car off the road and into a deep ditch one day and had to call my father to come rescue me. Imagine the embarrassment of having to ask a stranger to use their bathroom for this purpose.
Funny except when it is happening to you. Okay, its funny even then, but only after the embarrassment is over. ;)

10. That's not the part that was funny |
|
I can understand that and sympathize with the woman's need. I just think there was probably a more genteel way of expressing her discomfort.

11. I agree there was a better way to say it and |

I was not offended in any way by your post, was just explaining why she may have felt the need to get to the bathroom quickly. I am teased about my situation, and laugh at it my self although there have been times where it was a sad thing also.
As far as the way she expressed herself, that was humorously funny. People are not genteel anymore, it is an art that has been lost by most. (including myself);)
