The protester is Jeff Monson, a star in the sport of ultimate fighting. He was in St. Paul to protest the RNC. A boxing writing mutual friend sent me this pic today. I love it!

He's savage in the ring, but outside of competition he preaches non-violence and conflict-avoidance. He was not arrested after this pic, but instead de-escalated the situation and agreed to disperse.
