NPR's Williams ignores falsehood in Palin's claim about "bridge to nowhere"

Summary: On NPR, Renee Montagne asked Juan Williams of Gov. Sarah Palin's claims about the "bridge to nowhere": "Is it surprising that she keeps saying that, or repeating that she told Congress, 'No thanks,' on that bridge?" Rather than note that Palin's assertion is false, Williams responded in part by saying: "Well, what they're emphasizing is that she, you know, did eventually turn down the idea without disclosing that early on she was, as you said, campaigning for it back in 2006. ... So, it's a matter of, you know, omission in their view."

1. He's spending WAY too much time with the folks at Fox News apparently.
I've been noticing him increasingly becoming an apologist for the right. It's disgusting.

3. Isn't Juan Williams a shill for Faux News...??
Pathetic.

I saw him weeping on tv the night Michelle spoke.

And yet he's still playing for their team.

Very sad.

5. Forget that her opinion "evolved"
what they should highlight is that Alaska kept the money anyway. It might not have gone towards the bridge, but it was still millions of earmark dollars sent directly to the state of Alaska. Oink!

6. 'evolved'. is that what they're calling it now?
It might be called perjury in a court of law.

Besides, I thought she didn't believe in that sort of thing.
