Origin of Specious award for the week.

Pat Buchanan on McLAUGH-IN group the other day started blabbering about "blacks voting 95% for Obama". I could not believe the Righties are still trying to get mileage out of this.

What Buchanan failed to mention, and Clarence Page and Eleanor Clift didn't counter with, was that blacks have been voting in the high 80-90% range since LBJ, who got 94%.

Upshot: Blacks are not voting for Obama because he is black, but because he is a democrat!

I cannot believe that the Right can keep this myth alive. It seems they just recycle these idiotic ideas hoping to raise the fear factor as much as possible.

This post has a "so what's new" quality about it here at DU. What I'd like to say is that these treacherous bastids slip this stuff back into the info slipstream hoping we don't see it. IMO its important to call whenever its seen.
