Is a $707 a night hotel room expensive? I haven't stayed in a hotel for so many years that I'm really out of touch with hotel prices. It seems a bit high to me and, if it is well above the norm, how would this play with the working class and rural voters she's trying to impress as far as her reformist image goes?

The state paid for three nights in a $707-a-day hotel room. Garnero said the governor's office has the authority to approve hotel stays above $300."
