Barack on defensive...? AP is nuts (x post from GDP)

Obama is back on defense

By NEDRA PICKLER, Associated Press Writer 18 minutes ago

RIVERSIDE, Ohio - Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama has found himself in a position he hasn't been in during many long months of campaigning — on defense against Republican rival John McCain.

With just over seven weeks left in the race, the candidates are running even in most polls, money and, it seems, even rank-and-file enthusiasm — all fronts where Obama had led for months.

- snip -

You know, not from the interviews I have seen with o-viley and in Indiana speeches...he's been ON FIRE! :wtf:
How can they say this? how can one hear what he says and not "get it" ...? i am baffled . Obama has even been saying "you're not that stupid" "they think you are"

WAKE UP AMERICA!

6. He IS on defense
He hasn't been on offense since his Invesco Field speech. Stop being a nice guy and take the gloves off. I've been screaming this.

7. I agree with her. Obama's not taking it to the voters.
He's not on the initiative. They're responding more than being aggressive.

And I wish he would stop talking like a professor. We need a short, plainly stated economic message, and he doesn't have it. Sure the economy is terrible. Now what is he specifically going to do about it? And can he please state his answer crisply instead of meandering on as he tends to do, with too many uhs, and you knows.
