Maybe take out the Al Qaeda camps, but if we had just gotten the entire world involved in hunting down the bastards who did this, bin Laden would have been executed in an International crimes court years ago.

Some of us were screaming from the beginning that there were no WMDs, that the inspections needed to continue, that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, that this was wrong, wrong, wrong.
Some of us are still screaming about it.

was and is to steal as much money from the treasury as was humanly possible in 8 short years. They didn't want bin laden hanging like a millstone around their neck so instead they expanded the search into every imaginable money grabbing venture they could think up. Catching him would have been counterproductive.
