puckhead was the term for girls that enjoyed the company of minor league players. On this basis alone I think the term is very fitting for Palin.

7. Damage Control...Yet Again...

Every day the GOOP brings out the "rapid response" team...the spinners...inside and outside of the corporate media who will tell you what she "REALLY" meant as opposed to what she said (or didn't say). This lady will redefine the word "vacuous"...but the desperate right wing will look for something/anything that distracts away from her lack of any real knowledge of the world outside of shooting wolves from a helicopter. Maybe Charlie just didn't understand when she's speaking in tongues...this one is "high American bullshit".

I saw one spinner try to say that she was just talking like a "politician". Duh Hey now! So I guess that when she talks herself in circles that is fine...cause "they all do". And this is supposed to be change? And this is the best excuse they can make up?

I'm seeing more panic in Camp Gramps today...they know she struck out bad last night in what should have been a slam dunk. The interview was done on their turf, their terms...setting the bar so low...and this babe managed to limbo under it. As usual the knee-jerk response is to "blame the media". Instead of answering questions, Grandma Barracuda has created more...and I expect her handlers now to try tighten the leash even tighter...she'll be crapping talking points for the next 7 weeks...and any attack will be screamed out as being "sexist". What a bunch of hypocrites!!!

I don't know if he even cares what party it is at this point. And, I think he started the interview giving her the benefit of the doubt.. got 1/3 of the way into it and realized that she has no clue what she's doing. He then decided to throw her a few softballs, and she couldn't even hit those.

EPIC FAIL.

15. There wasn't much love for Gibson at DU yesterday leading up to the interview.

Most just "knew" that he was going to treat Palin with kid gloves and toss her soft balls, and that was why the McCain camp chose him to do the interview.

It is probably the RW that is calling Gibson names this morning. Next time when he gives obama, Biden, or some other Democrat a hard time, we can go back to calling him a MSM corporate stooge and the RW can praise him.

My normally low opinion of him is the result of years of watching him. His performance yesterday had virtually no chance of making an impact on that.
