2. He brought up the book banning issue - Carol Costello said it |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-12-08 07:54 AM by alsame
has been debunked, Koch said it hasn't been. Repeated that she 'scares the hell out of him". Costello tried to claim his description of Palin as "perky and plucky' was offensive - he basically laughed in her face.

5. She seemed to have an agenda |
|
I was in the other room listening and it sounded like she was really getting into it - shouting a bit.

10. And that is one reason why Ed Koch is not Obama's VP candidate. |
|
That and the fact that he is something of a schmuck.

6. He's Not Too Sweet On Her Jews For Jesus Ties... |
|
...or her "Reverend Wright" who said that Jews who don't convert to her form of xtianity should burn in hell. There's a large email campaign going on within the Jewish community about this lady and no matter how she says she supports Israel (Koch is a Likudnik just like Lieberman) her ties to the lunatic fringe scares the hell of of many Jews.

7. Jewish history tells us that |

the unbelievable, unimaginable can and has happened. So, I get the sense it's a valid campaign for Koch and friends.

I'm seeing a real shift in the few in the Jewish community who were big GOOP/Likud supporters...a big reason Joementum became a traitor as he puts Israel first. They see the Armgeddonites as a throw back not just to Nazis but also the zealots of Eastern Europe...using Jews as cannon fodder in their "Divine Plan". For many years there was an uneasy alliance between the Israel Firsters and the Xtian right...a marriage of convenience as long as real religion was left out of it. Palin crosses the line and many see her as a threat to Israel. The failure in Iraq and the loss of the US as an honest broker in the region has hurt Israel's national security and here's a lady who wants to isolate this country further. Damn right even Koch won't go near her and her ilk.
Cheers...

9. Thats because the Israel that her ilk believe in is one in which |
|
the Jews of this earth are destroyed to make way for the "Evangelical" spiritual Jews to move in. Nothing but pure hatred. Lieberman never had a chance to get on that ticket with McCain. The base would have started World War III.
