Wow! Just Wow. “Never second guess actions of Israel”.
So its OK if Israel nukes Syria, walls in and starves the Palestinians its all just fine with the failed beauty queen.
I guess that’s OK if you are running for Miss Alaska and the standard beauty pageant answers work.
This is the real world, not a reality freak show. McCain should dump Palin now before he competently obliterates
what’s left of his dwindling reputation.

5. Bush with a Beehive
The more Palin speaks, the more it's apparent that she is Bush with a beehive.

In the interview, she said nothing that is out of line with the same failed policies we've had for the last 8 years.

Personally, I think we should embrace the phrase, "Lipstick on a Pig", repeat it constantly, and drive the point home.

14. The Lipstick on the Pig

So true!

And seriously, Obama should embrace the publicity generated by the Republicans' phony outrage over the phrase and make it work for him. That's the Rove strategy, and it works.

Every time an apology is demanded, Obama should politely but firmly smack them in the face, repeat the charge, and hammer in his point that everything that the McCain campaign is putting forth is just window dressing. And of course, the obvious fact is that Palin is just one more part of this deception -- a pretty face on a bad policy.

CALL THEM OUT.

11. Scary Stupid
Ignorance is not knowing something you could possibly learn. Sarah Palin is so stupid she doesn't know she's ignorant.

She says she doesn't know what exactly the VP does all day.

Well, uh, they're a statutory member of the National Security Council.

You know, responsible for implementing the National Security Strategy - currently known as "The Bush Doctrine".

Scary Stupid.

13. ABC interview shows Palin is abyssmally ignorant of the most basic facts
As a public official, I expected Gov. Sarah Palin to have at least a basic knowledge of the facts of today's world. But in her interview with ABC's Charlie Gibson Gov. Palin shows herself to be profoundly ignorant of even the most basic facts of US policy both domestic and international. She sounds like a poorly prepared student trying to fake their way through a test with barrage of erudite sounding words and no understanding of the subject. I do have to commend Mr. Gibson for his patience and his attempts to help Gov. Palin understand his questions.

That is what I sent.

16. here's my .02
I am a middle aged woman voter, and I would NEVER think that Sarah Palin demonstrates the acuity to handle our Nation's issues. She has NO understanding of the international stage and the genteelness involved with diplomacy. Every answer she gave was a line that she had been coached on by the campaign handlers. She could not say "yes" or "no" to any question, because that would committ her to an actual stance on an actual issue! I am sure the campaign coached her to keep the rhetoric going, and not to answer anything directly. I can't wait to see what Joe Biden does with her!

Yes, she's "spunky" yes, she's "cute" and as a mom it is great that she has made her career work while leaving her kids to be raised by ...? her husband? But there is MORE thast is needed by our leaders. We are a country in CRISIS, and cute doesn't cut it! not in my book.

McCain thought that by bringing in someone younger and a famale he could pander to a diferent demographic. He is sorely mistaken. We aren't that stupid!

17. Quoted directly from Hillary Rosen's September 4 commentary on CNN: she says it best for me
What I will send to CNN:

"...I don't care about how Sarah Palin or John McCain take care of their families. I care about how their policy choices affect my family and millions of other Americans.

McCain and Palin get their health insurance paid for by the government (hers in Alaska and his in Washington). Yet they oppose giving the nearly 46 million uninsured Americans the same access to affordable health care.

John McCain's kids don't have to worry about paying for college. Yet he has opposed every single education support program to help others.

McCain and Palin say they will stand up to oil companies. Yet the only energy policy they support gives millions of dollars in tax breaks to oil companies to do more drilling and he has opposed every piece of federal legislation to explore alternative fuel sources.

McCain and Palin say they will revamp how Washington does business. Yet his campaign is filled with lobbyists and she has cooperated with Sen. Ted Stevens in funneling federal money for useless projects in Alaska for years. And McCain and Palin have no solutions for Americans worrying about their jobs in a fragile economy. iReport.com: Is Palin the right choice for you?

McCain and Palin want us to leave their families alone. Yet they want to make rules for our families by eliminating our right to make our own choices over abortion, eliminate our access to family planning education or domestic partner benefits, and our freedom from discrimination.

They want to control what our kids learn in school about sex and about science. In short, through the policies they promote and the judges they support, they want the government to have more control over our private lives than at any time in history.

McCain and Palin now say their campaign is about change, too. Yet the only real change they have proposed is a change from a suit to a skirt in the vice president's office and one man fighting a misplaced war for another in the Oval Office.

That seems to me to be the right reason to oppose them in November. It's not the process or the people, it's what they represent. This unconventional choice of a vice presidential nominee by John McCain won't result in a win in November, because McCain and Palin are the wrong choice for the country."
