3. Gramps Looks Like The Campaign Is Wearing On Him


Last Spring I questioned Gramps ability to deal with the long grind of a campaign. We've seen it take its toll on Senator Obama and Gramps has been at it just as long. I think he's mailing it in for the most part these days...just lucky to stay up with all the spin and distractions he's encouraged.

What event is this pic from? Or are they just walking to lunch together from the Senate chamber?

Quite a study in contrast--it looks like Cindy is guiding him along, and Obama has this "Are you feeling okay?" expression on his face.

At Ground Zero...This was when they were walking up the ramp from the memorial. The other person in the pic is Mike Bloomberg.

12. But he had his dark moments. Read "Body of Secrets" by James Bamford.
Still all in all he was the right man for his time. He didn't do much, but we didn't need an agent of change like we need one now. Of course his super highway legislation did change America.
