Dude, yer fucking kidding me, right? You've always been an asshole, but you were sorta serious ..... |
|
Roger Simon (One of the more egregious RW spokesmodels who works for Politico), just now, on MSNBC's air, trying to say why Puckhead's Pathetic Public Performance wasn't as bad as most of us think it was:
"She knew who Putin was. She knew where Georgia is, pretty much."
I give big props to ol' Rog, though. He said this with a straight face.

10. Hey - I'm from TX, for one thing (at least kind of in the South, eh?), and I was |
|
JOKING, and I'm certainly not talking about anyone intelligent enough to be on here. But I guarantee you that at least a few peckerwoods out there probably thought 'Georgia' referred to 'our' Georgia when they first heard of Russia invading Georgia. But no, even most ignorant people in the South aren't that stupid. Again, just a joke. I hate it when DUers slam each other... we're all on the same side.

All of us Southerners aren't stupid. In fact, the vast majority of us are pretty smart. We just have dumb media down here who don't inform us very well.
P.S. Nevermind. Saw your Post No. 10. Mea Culpa.

11. Wish me luck everybody, I'm applying for a job as a journalist |
|
No, I don't have any training or experience with it. But I have read a paper and I can see the Washington Post from my window, it is across the street from work.
Wow, I must have stayed in a Holiday Inn Express.

20. What's sad is that I am qualified to be a journalist, per se. |
|
I have a Communications degree (although, I got mine at ONE school, instead of FIVE) and I worked as a reporter for 10 years.
However, I probably am not qualified to be a journalist any longer. When I was reporting, I didn't pick sides, I didn't kiss ass and I reported facts, not spin. I probably would get fired for failure to toe the party line, these days.

28. The ad is very widely well known. Just change the name of the hotel. It would stll work. |
|
If you use ..... I dunno ....... Happy Hotel?
"No, I am not a qualified vice presidential candidate. But I *did* stay at a Happy Hotel Last night."
Its the wording and the cadence .... Happy Hotel has two "H"s to suggest the original ad and the same number of syllables to preserve the cadence.
Now we just need a video maven to create the spoof ad!
