11. Unless and until Obama can steal back the narrative in this campaign...

stories that require a bit of thinking won't be effective. Obama needs to show he's in charge. He needs to show how he's going to help ALL of the people in this country by averting the upcoming resession. Saying McCain is "more of the same" works, but he also will need to inspire people with his plans. Fortunately, Obama does get tougher when the going gets tough, so we're going to have to be strong and stick to our guns.

Isn't that requirement for all Republican interviews these days. You can talk about lipstick on pigs but when it comes to the personal character of the interviewee...that's completely off limits.

Issues...those should never be discussed...they aren't entertaining!

7. It's an old story

She stipulated to all of these charges in a legal proceeding. The guy making these allegations - again - was also trying to shake the McCain's down for a quarter of a million dollars before they told him to fuck off. Then he dropped everything and took off.

Now, he's back, nothing has changed, and quite clearly, there just isn't any story there.
