5. Around here they clean out the supermarkets...
when 3" of snow is forecast. People are stupid.

But, this time things are serious down there. Was watching he Weather Channel, and a few barrier island towns are already under water-- and that's before the expected 15-20' surge when the storm actually hits.

17. But the mayor didn't order an evacuation enabling them to sell even more.
I'm sure they had some input in that decision.

21. Yes, nothing like that happens. I mean you can't match up contributors to Bobby Jindal's
campaign and which bus companies were used to evacuate New Orleans, or to which ambulance companies got the rights to cover the evacuation routes.

Nothing like that ever happens.

I hope you're having fun.

In any case, I am not going to sit here and try to prove a negative, which you know is impossible. Now if you have some evidence that the mayor of Houston and the store owners here all got together and decided to pump up their profits by telling people to sit tight during this storm, go ahead ... spill it.

You'll pardon my terseness, but I'm a wee bit on edge at the moment and trying to find some distraction from this asinine raving lunatic conspiracy theories when people's lives are in danger.

Goodbye, good luck.

16. I'm sure those grocers are so thankful for the extra sales
Before the horrific hurricane comes down and destroys the store. I'm sure that's exactly what those grocers are thinking. :eyes:
