Hey Barack Obama...Get on the phone and accept the town hall
challenge. Seriously. there is now way in hell they would be willing to do this now. make an offer. maybe six of them over the next two/three weeks. He picks three locations and moderators. you pick three locations and moderators.

After his pathetic perfrormance today and yessterday this would be a slam dunk. Easy pickins.

2. Why should he accept the challenge on John McCain's terms?
McCain's camp would accept because they would be controlling the crowd and the questions. That is why Obama never accepted.

15. Should be pointed out clearly "HEY MEDIA"
Media needs to do a correction on their analysis of last night. They let McCain use this type of "Forum set-up" last night and it appeared to all my knowledge to be a lie. He blamed the discourse/nastiness in the Campaign to "Barack's refusal to do a Town Hall". Hmmmm John.

Well first of all, normally debates are held standing up at podiums. Due to McCain's height and possibly his health as well as feeling Town Hall gave him an advantage, McCain wanted a town Hall set up. Pretty arrogant really. This was going against the normal debate set up to begin with. It was selfish and deceptive. Then he was, I suspect, only accepting of this sitting down one. He wants to avoid any real ability to compare.

The Media, in MHO, missed the boat on the analysis in saying "There was no difference on positions". Wrong. I observed McCain spent more time on Military and Churches. Obama spoke more encompassing on programs as well as age groups with a final conclusion of the fact it will require something of every single one of us concerning energy.

There was mention in the conversation about "minorities and low income being the ones most unjustly in the Military" AND McCain followed it up close after that speaking about "Obama bringing lots of new people" to set an example or something like that. Then he praises his own experience. I saw it as a direct affirmation and insinuation that he places Obama in this "lowly, bottom of the ladder, struggling Minority thing" but that he, John, is so much better than that. It was racist and also arrogant. I found this remark the most offensive.

On the "committing to have Obama in his cabinet". Replay the tape. McCain answers "yes!" then immediately swings his head off to the side and does a rather taunt smirky smile. LIER body language. As a portraitist, photographer and someone who has observed people and body language for many many years, I saw a man that was very mean, immature and deceptive.

3. I think Obama may be leaning toward the big crowds again...........
it has worked until now.

And doin' the town hall stuff, well, we all know that McCain just wanted to keep Obama off the campaign trail for one day a week.

Republicans are also notorious for "planting" questioners who aren't the real deal

4. I've never been able to understand the reluctance...
...to do this. Obama's relative youth and much more overwhelming charisma would completely diminish McCain in that setting.

9. Senator McCain...
what is your birthday...

So-called Senator Obama, if that is your real name Osama, explain the theory of relativity and then explain how that is relative to the daily lives of the Inuits.

10. The thing is, Grandpa will insist on the presence of his nursemaid
just so he can "pump up da volume" in Springeresque fashion!! It would turn into a complete circus, which would only be detrimental to Obama...

12. Obama is going to have to take some calculated risks to show people why they should vote for him.

All we have are the debates and political advertising. He can still win by taking the high road.

13. Nope.
Why give McCain the free coverage?? That's why he wants them -- to boost his exposure and get the type of media coverage he can't afford.

Obama is being very smart.
