Okay..I get it now....I have found the perfect cop-out when posed with a difficult question
and when I get asked that question, I will respond " In what respect-persons name"?

BOSS: TK421..why were you late for work today?

TK421: In what respect, boss?

BARTENDER: Sorry, but your credit card is over the limit

TK421: In what respect, bartender?

COP: Sir, you're being pulled over because you were going over the speed limit

TK421: In what respect, officer?

Yeah, I just watched the video again and thought it was a pretty straight-forward question myself.

1. Remember it's all in the tone:
Nervous, faux-outraged, and defensive all at the same time. Perfect!

4. Well, what REALLY got me was the long pause before her non-answer
You caught that, right? I would have loved to have seen that camera angle head-on

She was the deer, and Charlie was the car with its high-beams on

Hilarious.

9. Yup, definitely have to add that "Charlie" - it's the finishing touch,

the lipstick gloss, if you will, of the definitive phrase of this campaign...

11. If the cop had a good sense of humor about him, perhaps it would get me
out of a ticket? Nah...you're right, I wouldn't try it

13. "In what respect, Charlie" = "I don't know what the fuck you're talking about."
"Can you elaborate on your question so I might get a clue how to answer?"

24. One good thing, a few people that I talk to at work watched some of those
clips and she scared the hell out of them. Of course, I'm sure that I don't help when I point out, in a very concerned voice, that at John McCain's age and with his history of cancer, she very well could be POTUS. hehe. Sometimes subtlety works. They pause for a second, then their eyes get really big.

Make sure the name is correct or it will lose that punch.

28. Pit Bull Palin was too arrogant to admit that she had no clue
as to what the Bush Doctrine was. Even when supplied with the answer she still did not reply to the direct question. She is not only arrogant but quite ignorant about Natl. Issues. Even though she was prepped for the Interview, she failed. McClown has insulted America by this cynical choice of VP.

29. I finally heard it on NPR today, they played it several times.
with some sort of comments like "it shouldn't have been that difficult for a vp nominee to know" and "even after it was explained, she didn't answer the question, I wonder why" sort of things.
