BREAKING: CNN can't even use declaratory sentences!!!

Or at least can't compose basic sentences in the English language.

The national weather service is warning that those who stay in mandatory evac areas face CERTAIN death.

CNN waters it down on their ticker as: COULD face certain death...

OMG...

If it is CERTAIN, then COULD is antithetical to CERTAINTY as it implies DOUBT.

If it is CERTAIN then the operative word is WILL or SHALL not MAY or COULD.

If CNN can't be CERTAIN about something as straight forward as THIS it is no wonder that they can't conduct an actual journalistic investigation into McCain's/Palin's lies and instead resort to he said she said talking heads.

Disgusted!!

17. Just received this email from a friend in Houston.....

Galveston is underwater already...the Strand (downtown Galveston is under 4 -5 ft of water)...waves are crashing over the seawall...and this is at lowtide...the storm surge is predicted to be 20+ ft above that...Houses on Boliver are crashing and floating as they are at the west end of Galveston...This is going to be a rough one...I have been thru many (the 1st I remember was Camille)...so you may not hear from me for about 2 weeks as last major hurricane here thats how long my power was out...do not worry I am an old pro at this...I will email you once I get power back(if I lose it...I know wild hope...lol).
