2. You know,
I once worked for a man who had been Harry Truman's White House Counsel. He was a great Washington Democrat, and he loathed Richard Nixon.

One day, in the very early 1980s, he said to me, "You know, I'm starting to think that maybe Nixon wasn't the worst one." He was speaking of Ronald Reagan.

Today, I find myself thinking the unthinkable: that Fuckface wasn't as bad as McPOW.

And that just breaks my heart.

How much lower can we sink?

11. He was in OKC for 4 hours, and they shut down every airport in town for him.
No air traffic in all of OKC for 4 hours. His "appearance" was in the Research Park where I used to work. They practically shut the place down, no one could leave their buildings, and no open blinds on the south and west sides of the buildings. God forbid someone should set their eyes on the Empreror . . . .

There were a few protestors, but they were a couple of blocks away.
