Help! Need an "E-Mailable Photo" of Palin with Daughter and Killed Caribou...
Edited on Fri Sep-12-08 07:04 PM by KoKo01
The one where Palin is showing her 6 year old how she shot the Caribou and it's in agony with blood streaming from it's nostrils..in agony in death.

I need to send this out there...but I can't find a photo that seems to transmit to E-Mail that I can send.

Anyone have a "link" that isn't going to "eat up bandwith" or do some other crap?

I just want a site that will give that PHOTO...I need to send it to my buddies who watch "Animal Planet" but are so young...they don't really get what "KILL and DEATH BLEEDING" means. They just think it's some "TeeVEE" thing they watch and not "really real."

That Photo of Palin with her daughter says so much about "cruelty to animals" ...I've got to send it to some folks. I just can't get a Web Photo that I can E-Mail that seems to come through.

HELP!

11. You can just right click "save as" to your desktop. To email it, either copy
and paste on email or attach. It's very simple.

15. I don't know what "hotlink is.." yeah...sorry...ashamed...
I just need a way to send the photo that isn't gonna get me in legal trouble. I'm kind of clueless about stuff like "hot links." I clung to my Win ME...and they had to pry that leaky, POS Microsoft thing from my cold dead hands a year ago. I fought against "XP" and now I live in fear of having to deal with VISTA when folks have aleady made the switch over...awhile back.

I'm kind of a "clinger to what I like and quirks and all ...how I make it work for me."

16. Here's a link ...

Right click on it to save it to your computer, or right click on it to copy the link.

You can send either in an email, no hotlink problems.

6. that caribou had been dead for a while before that pic was taken. stone cold dead.

I think hunting, fishing, farming/gardening, cooking, weaving, and other survival skills are important to teach children. Some day they may need to know.

8. NO! the head is raised in agony as the blood streams from it's nostrills...it's in AGONY!
No wonder she has problems with her kids. She's a KILLER! That scares little kids...It does. Unless some of her "spawn" are just like her. The ones that aren't probably are the ones she can't control..

22. I encourage you not to say its alive because if it were it would trying to impale Palin

People won't believe you if you exagerrate your claim.

She's bracing the head up by its antlers.

Animals even ones near death will fight and injure anyone messing with its antlers like that.

19. That's Not The Issue, Here

The issue is that there is a right way and a wrong way to take hunting photographs. Any hunter with half a brain cell working knows that pictures of downed game may be viewed by non-hunters, and therefore the animal should be posed with some care to minimize overt, unsettling evidence of bloodletting. That caribou in Palin's picture looks like a hand grenade went off inside it, and including her young daughter in the shot is just inexcusable. Palin deserves every bit of criticism she gets about this. What a thoughtless, tasteless, ignorant woman she is---and millions and millions of Stupid People will joyously vote for her.....

21. you say...hunters know
"the animal must be posed for non-hunters?" Are you saying "hide the evidence of suffering" so that "non-hunters" don't get offended?

I think I read outrage about Palin's photo ops in your post...but there was another side of the post that made me wonder about hunters "hiding the suffering of their kills."

9. Ive never hunted anything, and I don't really understand the whole premise...
Edited on Fri Sep-12-08 07:38 PM by Oregone
I think creatures like this look much better alive to be honest. But you know, I have friends who do this. Its a way of life. Most of them are lucky if they get 1 kill an entire year, and they eat everything they can normally get off of it. Its normalcy to them, and they are not bad people (not assholes or, as a former poster observed, c*nts).

To be honest, I have much more disgust for people who eat the meat off farmed animals, rather than hunted. Mass agriculture has drastic consequences to our environment (from pollution to climate change), as well as producing meat of questionable nutritional value. In terms of food, if you aren't hunting it or growing it locally, there are a chain of harmful chain of events getting that food to your table (from culturing to transportation to refrigeration).

So, even though I don't do it myself, I cannot judge this practice. Especially when it is for food, rather than "trophy" hunting (but sometimes the lines blurs between them). Although, I actually have fished (and had pictures taken before eating), that may help me understand the hunting angle.

Anyway, I think Palin is ignorant, and absolutely dangerous. There might be more to the picture. But based on the picture...I gotta say, so what? The only thing unusual is seeing a woman do it, but again, so what?

17. It's a difficult thing. I grew up in Southern "hunting culture" but they ate what they hunted
years ago...to live...possum, deer, squirrels..that kind of stuff.

BUT NOW? Who the hell needs to do this unless it's for "Sport?" And, who monitors the "RAMBOS" who BAG as MANY AS THEY CAN...because it's their VIAGRA MOMENT!

Why does Dick Cheney need to kill all those BIRDS! Do he and Lynn "pick the feathers" and cook all of them for meal after meal? Is Lynn Cheney's freezer filled with meals she cooks for her "grown children" when they come for three holidays a year?

What do these "sport hunters" do with what they kill these days? Don't most of them eat out or have "personal Chefs?" :eyes:

Killing for "FOOD TO LIVE OFF" or "SPORT?" Which is it?
