MSNBC reported that she stated that no trooper has been fired, he is still a trooper today. I'm probaly answering my own question but she fired the cheif of police or police commissioner for not firing the trooper. I didn't know that he wasn't fired nor am I going to believe that something from the Palin camp is true, but I didn't know he wasn't fired. Could someone inform me?

Was fired for supposedly job related issues. But most believe he was fired for refusing to fire Trooper Wooten who was going through a nasty divorce at the time with Palin's sister. Trooper Wooten is still on the job, it was the commissioner who took the bullet.
