There is a monster storm bearing down on Texas. There is a horrendous train crash in California. We are in quagmires in Iraq and Afghanistan and the maniac in the White House is trying to cement his legacy by stirring up another cold war. The Economy is in the toilet.

And looking at news web sites and even the newsflow on the front page of DU, it is mostly about the tiny, insignificant spec of an asshole who I will not name.

Our country is nearly complete in its transition to irrelevance, a completely embarrassing laughing stock to the rest of the world, and an insult to thinking, intelligent humans.
