Republicans Have Low Standards for their Candidates
It seems that Republicans have lower standards for their candidates than the Democrats have for their candidates. Anyone who watched "Real Time with Bill Maher" tonight knows that John Fund made excuses for Sarah Palin seemingly not knowing the Bush Doctrine. It was just so ridiculous to me that Fund would try to act as if it was not a big deal that one of the vice presidential did not know the Bush Doctrine. I want presidential candidates and vice presidential candidates to know the current policies of this country. I think it is very necessary for them to know about those issues. I do not think candidates for president and vice president should have to be given a refresher on the current policies of the country. I believe they should be able to give a response when asked a question about the current policy. In my opinion if someone does not know the current policies of the country they should not be running for president or vice president.

3. They don't want someone who knows about the issues. Hell, look who
they picked for the top spot. The one that admits out loud he knows nothing about the economy.

If they don't know about the issues and they're ignorant, they are more easily controlled and manipulated by the big money boys that lead them around.

4. They've set the bar so low, an amoeba couldn't limbo underneath it.
Their standards are so low, you have to take the "up" escalator to get to hell.
