3. I haven't seen the hard-hearted ones here tonight, as yet...

but I did cackle like a hyena when I saw the YouTube video of Geraldo getting knocked over by a wave.

Everything else about this day has been too worrisome so far, and I have a feeling that tomorrow will be awfully sad.

8. I get you now, or should I say, I found it...

and yes, the "I'm the only one who matters in the whole wide world" persona that some tend to take on during times when most seek to draw together and share compassion and express empathy has been a puzzle to me, for a long time. Deliberate aggravation like that seems to have a purpose or it may just be a reflection of the trend our country leans to, which makes it even scarier.

It's related to the straps of jackboots, I do believe.
